3 minute video comparing Nutrizorb and Amaferm

Amaferm®… Nutrizorb®... what are the similarities and differences? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Both are great cattle digestion products, but what sets them apart?

Amaferm®

Amaferm® is a product created at BioZyme® in St. Joseph, Missouri. It’s an excellent product that has been around since the 1970s. Amaferm® is crafted from aspergillus oryzae, a fungus that has proven to be a great product aiding the digestion process and improving overall digestive efficiency.

Nutrizorb®

Nutrizorb® is a product made by Riomax® and is a key ingredient in every single Riomax® product. Nutrizorb® is comprised of 19 different components, including aspergillus oryzae. Besides aspergillus oryzae, it includes yeasts, fungi fuel, enzymes, probiotics, and prebiotics. There are a total of 19 different digestion enhancers, which allow Nutrizorb® to cut a very wide swath, in terms of digestive efficiency. We like to say that it “feeds the troops that win the war”. In other words, feed the good bugs in the rumen to make more of them and improve their efficiency.

Note that in Canada, the composition of Nutrizorb® is slightly different, based on the CFIA regulations.

Which digestion package to choose?

When choosing between Amaferm® and Nutrizorb®, remember that it all comes down to what you want to get out of your digestion package. Whether you use Amaferm® on its own, or Nutrizorb®, which includes aspergillus oryzae, as well as a myriad of additional digestion components, the end goal is still to improve digestion efficiency. The next step for you is to find out which one does that job most effectively.
