St Johns, Arizona, 1998. Travis Johnson got a ranch and has been settled there ever since. Pastures are big, water sources are many, and forage varies from grama grass to chamise to alkali sacaton. Even with the variability of his forage, Travis sees reliable, consistent consumption rates with his cattle lick tubs – something he hasn’t always seen.
