You said what the tubs are gonna cost how much? If you said that when you first heard the upfront cost for Riomax, you're certainly not the first guy and I highly doubt you'll be the last. The price of the Riomax tubs, that's one thing that'll it'll make you take it to couple steps back. Riomax is generally three to four times what another protein tub would cost on an upfront basis. Reason being is Riomax is built to a value point, not a price point. And what I mean by that is there's a lot of products out there that have a lot of fillers, salt, cheaper minerals, and lower levels of mineral that allow that tub to only cost the rancher one hundred and fifty dollars but the cattle need to eat a pound a day to meet their daily requirements. With Riomax, we focus on packing as much value as we possibly can in a tub, allowing the cattle to only need a quarter pound a day instead of a whole pound. Now let's talk about true cost. And what I mean by that is there's a lot of ranchers out there that when they're looking at what they're going to spend on their mineral, they focus very much on the cost per ton or cost per tub of what they're looking to purchase. And while that's okay, the thing to remember is your upfront cost is not your true cost. So take for example, a hundred and fifty dollar protein tub, say it's a two hundred pound tub and the cow need to eat a pound a day to meet their daily requirements. That protein tub is gonna cost you seventy five cents per cow per day. Now the upfront cost of Riomax before any quantity discounts is gonna be five hundred dollars per two hundred and fifty pound tub. At our average consumption, Riomax is only gonna cost about forty six cents per head per day. Now you think about that. We are twenty nine cents per head per day cheaper than the tub that's only a third of the cost of Riomax. So again, on a cost per tub basis, we're not going to be your cheapest option. In fact, we're going to be by far the highest on the market. But on a cost per cow per day or your true cost, we're gonna be comparable, if not cheaper than the majority of options out there. The most important thing to note about this whole thing, though, is what are you getting for that cost per head per day? Because with Riomax, it's a tub that pays for itself. And majority of the time that is in the feed and forage savings alone. We've done a study with our customers and eight out of ten customers said the tubs paid for themselves. One and a half out of ten customers said they weren't sure yet, still deciding, and half a customer or five percent said no, they didn't feel like the tubs paid for themselves. So at the end of the day, when we're talking about true important thing to remember is what are we actually getting for your money? Now a lot of ranchers want to look at what's the cheapest thing I can do for my herd, which isn't wrong because we got to be conservative and we got to look at the bottom line. But the other factor to it is look at your mineral program like an investment. What is your return on that investment? The mineral program should not just be the cheapest you can find, but it should be the best return for your money. So if you think about Riomax, if you're spending forty four cents a day on Riomax, but you're saving forty five cents a day on feed, then you're actually putting one penny per cow per day back in your pocket, not figuring what you would have been spending on another supplement program. So if you had been going with tub X at seventy five cents per cow per day, and now you're putting a penny a day back in your pocket, that is seventy six cents per head per day, you're safe. And that's how Riomax is not only low cost to feed, but majority of the time is paying for itself just in results alone.
OVERVIEW
PG360™ is our most popular ultra-concentrated lick tub. This high concentration allows animals to meet their nutritional requirements with very small amounts of product.
Because it's highly concentrated, PG360™ has a low consumption rate - between 1/8 and 1/3 of a pound per head per day. This low consumption ensures your cost per day is kept in check. Plus, PG360™ is backed up by our COSTGUARD Consumption Guarantee! Take the risk off your shoulders!
The Riomax PG three sixty, the tub that pays for itself. So if you're here, you've probably seen quite a few of the Riomax videos. I feel like Riomax is the tub that that pays for itself. And now you're looking to see if the PG360 is the right formula for your operation. So the PG360 is going to have both our Nutrizorb, which is our digestive pack in the tubs, as well as Esqort, our one hundred percent protected key trace minerals, our mineral package. And the three sixty is going to deliver on the results we talk about as a company. The feed and forward savings most importantly, that's how the tubs pay for themselves. Second is the conception rates. Third, the weaning weights. And fourth, certainly not least, is the improved herd health. PG360 comes in all of our container types. So anything from the sixty pound tub to the one hundred twenty five to the two fifty pound tub. And then as far as cost goes, it's gonna average between forty to fifty cents per cow per day, depending on quantity discounts as well as consumption on the tubs. When When you start figuring the competitors tubs, they're as much per head per day as the Rio tubs because the Rio tubs are so low consumption. And for the majority of our cow calf operations out this is the formula they would pick. There's a couple exceptions. One would be if you're looking for a fly control formula, either a repel or IGR would probably be the one to look at. In both of those formulas, the PG360 is the base package far as mineral and digestion, but they have that added fly control. And then if you're a grass fed operation, in the majority of circumstances, the PG360 will meet those requirements. We're approved for the NHTC program as well as the GAP programs and a vast majority of other value add programs out there. But there are a few programs out there that you might have to look at our progress tub to meet those qualifications. As a company, we're more than happy to help you work through that process. Now let's talk about who it's not a fit for. If you're a rancher and you're more interested in the least cost mineral program or supplement program, it's questionable whether the three sixty is a fit for you. As a on a cost per head per day, we're comparable, if not cheaper than a lot of programs out there. However, we're not gonna be your cheapest option if you're comparing us to a bare bones loose mineral package or something like that. We're focused on delivering results and return on that investment with the feed and forage savings and the conception rates, weaning weights and herd health we talk about. So on a least cost program, it's likely not going to be a fit. The other operation it may not be a fit for is if you're looking for a quick fix. Nutrition isn't something you can just turn around overnight. And so if we have a deficiency issue in the cattle or we're looking to impact a specific result, take breeding for example, we recommend the tubs out in front of the cows sixty to ninety days prior to breeding to ensure best results. If you're in the midst of cattle sickness and we're having health issues already, Riomax is not gonna be a Draxin or something to turn that around. So I'd recommend looking at more of a medicated approach or consulting event. So as a rancher, if you're just looking to something to use for a couple weeks or a month, quite honestly, I don't think Riomax PG three sixty is a good test for you to use. However, it definitely would be something to look at getting on to prevent the next outbreak or something down the road that might happen. We are here not just for a one off sale, but to develop a lifelong customer. And we believe in putting the rancher first. So we wanna make sure that when you're selecting your mineral program just like anything else, you're looking at that return on investment and making sure it's the right fit for you. Rhyzogreen is the only product that I know that I can use that actually makes me money. So if you got any further questions or you think the p g three sixty might be a fit for you, fill out a web form, give us a holler, or reach out to your local dealer, and we'll get you taken care of. Mike, just bite the bullet. It's worth it. Look forward to catching up, running some numbers, and seeing how Riomax can pay for itself in your operation.

CONTAINER OPTIONS
Hey. It's Ashley Ketner with Riomax. Today, we're gonna talk about the two hundred and fifty pound container option. It's about roughly eighteen and a half inches tall, twenty four inches in diameter. This particular tub option comes eight on a skid. So it'll be four tubs per layer, two layers high. We do not recommend stacking them any higher than that.
Hey. It's Ashley Ketner with Riomax. Today, we're gonna talk about the one hundred and twenty five pound biodegradable container style. As you can see, it's a lot shorter than the two fifty. It's twelve and a quarter inches tall, twenty and a half inches in diameter. The shape is an octagon and with this lip that you see here, makes it for a really good handle to pick up and move to bring out to the pasture. Since this is biodegradable, the beauty of this design is that you don't have to go out there and chase plastic tubs around the pasture, and the cattle will actually just go ahead and consume the tub as they're licking on the product itself. Itself. So as they're going through it, it'll just go ahead and go right down to the bottom, and then that's it. This particular tub option comes with fifteen on a skid, and there'll be three layers of five tubs. And we don't recommend you stack them any higher than that.
Hey. It's Ashley Ketner with Riomax. Today, we're gonna talk about the one hundred and twenty five pound plastic container style. This container is roughly eleven and a half inches tall and twenty one and a half inches in diameter. This container style is half of what a two hundred and fifty pound tub would be, so it's a little bit easier to maneuver and handle. This container style is fantastic for smaller paddock sizes or pastures. For example, a bull pasture where there's just fewer animals. It's also a fantastic option for rangeland where you can use a few more tubs to use as feeding stations to pull the cattle into areas where they don't frequently travel to. With this container style, there is sixteen per ton, and it will come in three layers of four tubs. We don't recommend stacking them any higher than three layers because it may get tippy and fall over.
Hey. It's Ashley Ketner with Riomax. Today, we're gonna talk about the BioBrix. The BioBrix is sixty pounds worth of product. It is seven and a quarter inches tall, fifteen and a quarter inches wide, and roughly twenty two inches long. This container style has lips on both sides for easy handling. This was originally designed for using with pack horses heading to the mountains. Another awesome feature with this tub style is that it's biodegradable. So with that, when cattle are licking on the product itself, they will go ahead and eat on the sides, and that's perfectly fine. It is safe for them. As they lick on it, it will go down, and then you have nothing you have to go back out there and pick up. One of the beautiful benefits of that is government land, especially with majority of those situations, they don't allow plastic. Another benefit to this tub style is the flexibility of being on range country or in smaller paddocks or pasture sizes. The BioBrix comes with thirty six tubs on a skid. It will be three layers of six with plywood boards in between, then there will be a pallet and another three layers of six tubs. And we do not recommend that you stack them any higher than that.

HOW MUCH DOES PG360 COST?
Be aware that there are several factors we can not determine that do affect your cost and consumption including, but not limited to:
- Current Body Condition/Stage of Production
- Animal Size
- Health Status
- Weather & Location
- Water & Feed Quality
- & More!
It is challenging to determine exact costs when there are so many variables. If you wish to get a quote customized further to your operation or have any questions, don't hesitate to give us a shout at 888-848-4765!
We'll be upfront with ya. Our products DO have a higher upfront price than many others on the market. BUT, on a cost per head per day basis, which is where the rubber meets the road, the price is the same or many times less than competitor products. Additionally, they are very concentrated products, which means they will last 2-3 times longer than other tubs out there.
Keep in mind that when feeding Riomax®, there is no need to supplement any additional mineral - so you can subtract that cost as well.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN SHOULD I FEED PG360?
PG360 is designed to be fed year-round. Its self-regulating ForageBalancer technology enables it to fill nutritional needs, no matter the season, location, or forage.
Many producers feed PG360 year-round, while some only feed it at specific times of the year. Producers that see the best results are those who feed it year-round, which is why we strongly recommend feeding it continuously if possible.
Feeding PG360 continuously gives animals an even plane of nutrition and users typically see consumption average at the low end (1/8 pound) when using it year-round.
IS PG360 A PROTEIN TUB?
Great question - we get this a lot. PG360 is a protein tub... but it delivers protein a little differently to most protein tubs on the market. With something called Indirect Supplementation Technology, PG360 helps your cattle meet their protein requirements more efficiently. Learn more in the video!
IS PG360 A MINERAL TUB?

HOW DOES MINERAL AFFECT SOIL HEALTH?
LICK TUBS VS LOOSE MINERAL
Check out this review of PG360, the formula Boone uses!
Alright. So I'm Boone Hoffman, and I'm from Shatter, Nebraska. And we're gonna talk a little bit on the rate of return on the Riomax tubs on our ranch this year. This group of cows behind me, five hundred and five head, and we ran them, for five months from mid October down until, mid March on just about eleven hundred acres. Pretty close on that. If we're figuring a two hundred dollar ton hay, basically, that saved two months worth of forage that we either would have grazed or we would have fed. And, that breaks down right around ninety thousand dollars. So if I was feeding these cows full feed, they'd have about fifteen hundred dollars a day, the current hay cost. On top of that, that includes my mineral package, it includes the protein. So the only time we fed these cows hay, which a lot of people are gonna find it hard to believe, was just when it was that negative twenty, negative thirty below weather. And that's when we we gave them hay just for good animal husbandry to make sure they're filled up and and doing good. And if you scan across there, they're in this pasture right here, and and we'll graze clear. As long as we don't get in a blizzard, something like that, they get paired out into, stockpiled forage pastures, and and they'll just stay on the tubs and that. We won't give them any anything else. Going back a long ways, I, like I said, really truly believe the year round program, having the cows on it all year long, just basically pays for the tub itself. This in the forage savings. You know, ninety thousand dollars, that's a semi load and a half of of the tubs, and, that was just in five months that paid for that. So if you figure that on a year round basis, you got another eight months in there that basically is free. So it turned it turned this, you know, stockpiled grass, which you might say is worth twenty bucks an acre if you're renting it twenty five dollars an acre and turn it into two hundred dollar forage. If you look at that way because I didn't feed hay for sixty days, I would have to feed otherwise. This year this year when we did our our preg rates, we're right at ninety seven percent on on this group up here. Our first calf heifers in historically, we're fifteen percent open on a forty day breed, and we knocked that down to five this year by having them on on the heifers year round. I didn't used to feed I didn't used to feed to the heifers in the summer and the spring on the development. So just changing that, if that's the ten percent, you know, that starts being a big deal taking a red heifer will just say if she's worth two thousand and if she's just a an open heifer's worth eleven hundred. So, you know, the depreciation that you lose on those open on those open cows is a huge freebie. Right? So because basically, just on the forest savings alone, it paid for the tubs. So then I get some heavier calves and and, higher conception rates on those cows and heifers, and that's all just a bonus. And you can fear that economically however you wanna do that. You know, we we bred four hundred heifers this year, and with only five percent open compared to ten percent, you know, that's that'd be forty head. That's forty thousand there also. So if you start really figuring up everything with your depreciation, we are not out here with tractors. We know fuel is four or, you know, four and a half to five dollars for diesel now. What's it gonna be next year? What's gonna be this summer? You're not feeding hay. You're not hauling hay. You're not repairing. We go out there. We chop ice in the winter and make sure the cows got tubs and salt. There's a there's a lot of cost and labor savings and repair savings and fuel savings and all all in all, it's it's probably the most unique and and amazing product that there is. And, like I I used to not be a believer six, seven years ago, but after going, you know, especially when the when the costs are what they are, we're we're full on board now. So with all that with all that said, you know, Riomax is is the, I think, the only livestock product that pays for itself. Plus, not only does it pay for itself, it pays you to use Riomax. And I don't know anybody hardly around here that's still grazing mid March and has been grazing, in a drought year. So when other guys are struggling, cutting herds back, running less cattle, poor conception rates, we're pretty much staying staying the course. I say Riomax is a tub that pays for itself.
"We're not a high input user by any means but there are orange tubs all over our place! And I've been challenged by the neighbors - well these tubs are pretty expensive - but I don't know, I've done the math and they haven't disappointed me yet."
