Hello. My name is Trevor. I'm the mad scientist. I'm the founder and owner of Rhyzogreen Nutrition, and I'm here to answer a question we get asked a lot. In the context of Riomax, the tub that pays for itself fifteen to thirty percent hay savings, the question we always get is, are those cows getting enough? Are you gonna starve them? Are we shortchanging them? Good questions. And that is what led us into doing the study on the manure. And manure is a very important metric to read. The manure of a cow tells you what's going on between a and and z. We can't see with a naked eye into the rumen of a cow, but by reading the manure, we can learn a lot. So now I'm gonna hand you over to Jamie. He heads up our live lab and has done the trials on the manure. Let's hear from him firsthand. Over the course of a year, we set up three similar studies to test the effectiveness of the PG three sixty tub. For all three studies, the cows were split into two groups. One had access to the Riomax PG three sixty tub and the others did not. Both groups had access to the same grass hay for the duration of the test. Four weeks into each trial, we performed a manure study by collecting ten pounds of fresh manure from each group. Then we liquefied the manure and ran it through an eighth inch screen. After allowing the fibers to fully dry, weighed the leftovers versus the control as in the cows not on The first study found three point three ounces of leftovers in the manure versus seven point three ounces in the control. That's a fifty five percent decrease in weight. The second study found similar. The Riomax manure had two point five ounces of leftovers versus five point nine ounces in the control, fifty eight percent decrease. And last, the third study showed three point six ounces of left overs in the Riomax sample versus five point nine oz in the control, a thirty nine percent decrease. So on average, the study showed fifty one percent more forage stayed in the cow instead of ending up in the manure. The second part of the study was to take a look at the consistency of the manure. Across all three studies, we observed that the manure paths of the Riomax cows were a thick pancake batter like consistency with a slight divot in the middle, showing the reduction in fibers. The control pads were more firm and stacked up, showing more fibers that weren't used up by the cow. We saw an average across three studies of a fifty one percent less leftovers or less undigested forages in versus control. Now that's huge. What that means for you, the rancher, is significant. That means we're pulling more out of every mouthful. We see it on the front end in terms of hay savings. Now we're justifying that on the back end, literally. Secondly, when we're squeezing more out of every mouthful and less is going out the back end, that forge that is not going out the hind end is going to body condition, is going to milk production, is going to fetal production. All those things that matter, and that is what drives your profitability, and that is what ensures that it truly is a tub that pays for itself. So that brings us full circle to answering that question. Is the cow getting enough? And we can see by these studies that yes, absolutely that cow is getting enough. The proof is in the pudding.
