Supplement with extra oomph!!
ComboCubes™ strategically combine the Riomax® science, which includes a multi-component digestion pack and 100% rumen bypass trace minerals, and puts it all into a 1-pound feeding of a cube.
Additionally, ComboCubes™ are made up of DDGs, flax, highly digestible fiber, and other high-quality protein and energy sources.
ComboCubes™ can be used:
- As a replacement to the Riomax® tub program or whatever tub program you usually use, in situations where you need to supplement with cubes/cake
- In conjunction with the tubs, as part of the Riomax® 360 year-round all-natural herd health program
ComboCubes™ are extremely versatile, have a long shelf life, and resist humidity. Furthermore, they taste great (according to cows) and are available in 7/16" and 7/8" sizes.
Regardless of what you currently use as a mineral or supplement program, ComboCubes™ are designed differently than other cubes by infusing the Riomax® supplementation technology right into cubes!
By doing this, we enable you to supplement mineral, digestion and protein with an extra oomph!
HOW DO THEY COME?
Riomax® products are made in multiple plants across the US and are available delivered direct to your ranch. Our cubes and pellets are available in either of the following size options:
- 50-pound bags
- Bulk load via paddle wagon
HOW MUCH DO COMBOCUBES COST?
These cubes cost between 90¢ and 1.10¢ (USD) per head per day.
Built into this range, there are several factors that do affect your cost and consumption including, but not limited to:
- Current Body Condition/Stage of Production
- Animal Size
- Health Status
- Weather & Location
- Water & Feed Quality
- & More!
It is challenging to determine exact costs when there are so many variables. If you wish to get a quote customized further to your operation or have any questions, don't hesitate to give us a shout at 507-637-0733!
We'll be upfront with ya. Our products DO have a higher upfront price than many others on the market. BUT, on a cost per head per day basis, which is where the rubber meets the road, the price is the same or many times less than competitor products. Additionally, they are very concentrated products, which means they will last 2-3 times longer than other tubs out there.
Keep in mind that when feeding Riomax®, there is no need to supplement any additional mineral - so you can subtract that cost as well.
HOW DO THE RIOMAX® COMBOCUBES™ FIT INTO THE RIOMAX360® PROGRAM?
The Riomax360® program is designed to get the right nutrition and digestion into your herd, all year long. According to university studies by Dr. Hall of Utah State University, every stage of the cow/calf life cycle is negatively affected when a cow becomes mineral deficient. This is why it’s crucial to provide an even plane of nutrition to that cow all year long.
The Riomax360® Program includes the Riomax® lick tubs (in a wide variety of container types), Riomax® loose mineral, paste and ComboCubes™. Each of these is simply a different way to deliver the Riomax® science:
- Esqort® 100% protected key trace minerals
- Nutrizorb® 19-component digestion pack
No matter what vehicle you choose from Riomax®, you can rest assured that your herd is getting the nutrition and digestion support that they need.
For a cow the recommended rate is 1 lb per head per day.
COMBOCUBES™ is a unique blend of highly digestible protein and energy sources bolted to a complete package of Riomax® mineral & digestion technology and as a result is often 2 to 4 times more per ton than other plain Cake/Cube options. With the low 1 lb intake it is not always more money on a cost per hd per day basis when you factor in the fact it's got a full mineral and digestion package.
Yes ComboCubes™ are safe for horses.
"We used your ComboCubes last winter and dad and I agreed we've never used a better cake. The other cake we used to get from town would crumble and make more of a mess than anything... the Rio cubes are just solid. We love the product."
"Weaned our calves on Riomax cubes and dry grass, they're jumping up and down happy."
"The cattle seem to really like the ComboCubes even more than the other cake I've fed in the past. They follow me until I feed them and then their heads are down and eating."
